Master Carver Michael Johnson has been sculpting masterpiece artwork for 18 years. Michael apprenticed with Master Carver Robert Wazelle in 1990, and has produced many thousands of beautiful "hand carved" Walking Sticks over the years. Mostly marketed at Renaissance festivals around the country, these One Of A Kind Pieces of Art have Wizards, Dragons, Fairies, Castles, Birds of Prey, and other Nature motif carved into them. Now retired from the Renaissance Festival Circuit, Michael has settled down in Florida, where he is working on In Home Artwork. He is currently creating pieces of art in Homes for individual private customers.
His design and concept ideas have transformed many ordinary interiors into unique and original works of art. Combining his customers' ideas with his expertise in design, and his artistic eye have made the winning combination for countless clients across the country. Located in the Tampa Bay area for over 7 years now, Michael has created a number of works from concept through to completion. With over 25 years of building and construction related experience, he is able to bring projects from design to completion with or without the use of sub-contractors. Michael's favorite medium has always been wood and he has created many custom stairways, as well as specializing in trim and finish woodworking. Wood is not all though, his expertise branches out into custom tile work, flooring, decking, and all aspects of construction and remodeling.
